When I purchased my Saiga 12 guage I also picked up a 12 round clip. Both the 5 rounder and the 12 produced no problems what so ever. I fired a mix of heavy target loads, steel game shot, 00#9 buckshot and sluggers. Mixing them up and nothing jamed nor did I have any problems loading the 12 round clip into the gun. I'm picking up a couple more when I get a chance. I've bought a couple items from Gilberts and everything works great.

I'm having some feeding problems

I purchased 2 Sure Fire mags, (12 Rds size) and the shells are hanging up on the bottom of the chamber barrel, not feeding into the chamber. This happens, both, when I hand operate the weapon or when I insert a shell into the chamber and fire the weapon. Ejection is okay but the live round jams up as I have discribed above. The 5 rd mag that came with the Saiga 12 works fine though I have had a few low brass rounds that didn't kick the bolt back far enough to eject the spent round and pick up the next live one and chamber it. I think the brass is staying a bit too long in the magazine under the two lips that hold the shells in the magazine. The nose of the shell is dug into the bottom of the barrel and the brass is still hanging under the front of the two magazine lips, that hold the shells in the magazine, by maybe a 1/16 or 1/8 inch and about the shell is on about a 40 degree angle. stuck
Any advise or suggestions would be great...has anyone else reported this problem? Chris

I did not have the burr problem I was surprised at the size I knew it had to be big but wow. I'm just happy to have 12 rounds

These are great, but had the same problem as others, It seems that it's just a slight burr left over from the mold, I was able to remove them with my finger nail

I did not buy this at Gilbert's, but I have the same problem with the 12 round magazine not seating in properly. I modified as described above and it works fine.

Just got two of these today and neither one would click into the gun -- but it's easy to fix with a dremel tool. Look at the back of a 5-rd mag where it inserts into the magazine well; it's flat. On the 12-rd mag, however, there are two raised ridges that go around the mag to include the back. The top ridge impacts the lip of the magazine well and keeps the mag from going high enough into the gun to engage. If you shave that ridge off it snaps in just fine. The mags loaded up 12 rounds easy. So far so good . . .
