After waiting for Tapco to finally release this product in June 2009, I was first able to find it here at Gilberts.com. Their price is the cheapest around and I received it within a few days as promised. This handguard is very versatile and comes with detailed instructions and the rails are designed so that you can add whichever ones you wish (left, right, lower). It also comes with the necessary adapters to fit the Saiga rifles (.223, 7.62X39, .308) and Saiga-12 (but not the .410). I own both a Saiga .223 and a Saiga-12 and I decided to put this handguard on the .223 rifle and it looks awesome. It has a very sturdy design and accomodates a vertical foregrip nicely. There was no wobble or play after installation; this handguard is a very solid-fitting piece of equipment, and adds very little weight to your firearm. Performance at the range was as I expected, and I expected it to perform like the other Tapco accessories I have installed on my firearms. I'll be ordering another one soon for my Saiga-12. Thanks alot!

Decided to take a chance on this for my Saiga 308 and absolutely love it, installed in 10 mn. with no modification, and it is a very solid fit. Comes with different adapters for 308 or 7.62/223 barrels.
